Getting ready to go

The time has come. I'm packing up for my year-long tour of duty in Japan, and it feels pretty good. I'm going to make this post nice and short, primarily because this is supposed to be a test post, but also because I'm not used to the whole writing down my thoughts thing. In any case, here's my new address in Japan:

Ok, back to packing up my life. The next time I post, I should be in Tokyo. I promise to take lots of pictures for everyone.
